Birdwatching Walks
BirdLife Shoalhaven conducts birdwatching walks for members regularly throughout the year, and has a Birdwatching Walks Coordinator who can be contacted by any member who would like to lead a walk. Walks can be done at any time and any place - these are totally up to the leader. You don't even have to be a great bird identifier to lead a walk - there are sure to be plenty of members who would be happy to attend and help you out with IDs! Send details of your walk to Fiona Evans at fionaevansblsbirdwalks@gmail.com.

Walk descriptions need to include the following (at least):

  • Location
  • Contact name and phone number
  • Optional brief description of habitat or something about the site
  • If morning tea, chair etc should be brought along
